The Redesign Process
- The Redesign process actually begins when you make your appointment. We will ask you two basic questions. How do you want the room to function? What look are you trying to achieve?
- A great room does not scream a certain style; it creates a feeling - welcoming, serene, elegant, sophisticated. A room is a expression of you. What will yours say about you?
- Before we arrive:
- 1. To save time and money, you may remove your accessories. Keep them together so we may use them in your redesign.
2. Gather any newly acquried pieces and put them with your accessory "stash".
3. Remove rare pieces and breakables of sentimental value.
- We will help you incorporate them in the room at the end of the redesign.
Upon arrival, we will:
1. Confirm your goals for the room.
2. Ask your permission to "borrow" items from other rooms to complete your redesign.
3. Ask if you will be present for the redesign or if you would rather go for coffee with a friend, etc. It will be more fun for you if you let us surprise you!
- We keep basic decorating items in our inventory - lamps, greenery. If we feel we should "fill in the blanks" to complete your redesign, we will use items from our inventory. Of course, all items are subject to your approval.
